1. What vehicles are supported?

All electric vehicles are supported.  Tesla models will need to ensure their adapter is firmly attached while using Clarkdale's charging stations.

2. Does charging cost the driver money?

No.  Electricity for the charging stations is paid by the Town.

3. Who do I call if there is a problem with the station?

During business hours, call the Public Works front desk at 928-639-2450.

After hours and weekend emergencies are handled by the Public Works on-call at 928-221-5037.

1. Brush Pick-Up

Brush Pick-Up is included with residential trash service.  Call our Billing Office at 928-639-2450 or submit the Brush Pick-Up Request Form before Monday at noon to ensure your brush is picked up with the Tuesday trash service.

Requirements

Grass clippings and leaves must be bagged.

Tree clippings and trimmings must be cut to three (3) foot lengths and bundled.

Century plants, thorned plants, cacti, and similar plants which are difficult to handle, or may present a danger to collectors, shall be contained in boxes or containers after having been cut to lengths of no more than three (3) feet. 

Pick-up is limited to four (4) bags and two (2) bundles per week.

Please keep in mind the weight of these items as a person is physically lifting them into the truck.

Patriot Disposal Inc. celebrates and observes 6 major holidays throughout the year.

If your normal pick-up day falls on or after the holiday you will be one day delayed.  We realize the need for our employees to have these few days off a year to spend with their families and we thank you for your understanding.

If the holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, there will be no delay in the pick-up schedule. 

Holidays that we run a normal schedule and do not affect your pick-up are:

Martin Luther King Day	Columbus Day
Presidents' Day	Veterans' Day

3. Repair/Replace Trash Cart

Residential trash customers may request to have their cart(s) repaired or replaced at no cost.  Call the Billing Office at 928-639-2450 or fill out a Trash Cart Repair/Replace Request Form online.

4. Recycling Center & Transfer Station

If you have bulk recycling items that don't fit in your cart, the Town has a recycling center provided by Patriot.  It is located at the corner of Main Street and Bonnaha Avenue near Clarkdale-Jerome School (view map location of the Recycling Center).

For other large items, there is a Transfer Station located at 1500 W Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 (view map location of the Transfer Station).

1. Does my water need additional treatment?

For most people, the answer is no. Safe Drinking Water Act standards are set to ensure that your tap water is safe. People who have medical conditions that might put them at special risk should discuss the need for a water filter with their doctors. All public water systems are required to complete an Annual Drinking Water Quality Report (a "Consumer Confidence Report") and distribute this report to system users (see list above).

2. Where to find Home Treatment Devices?

Many stores and companies sell various home treatment devices, ranging from small faucet-mounted filters to “whole-house” systems to water softeners. While we cannot recommend specific brands or products, the following information should be helpful. For specific project information, contact NSF International, Consumer Report, or the device manufacturer. Maintenance is important with any home treatment device, as an inadequately maintained filter can actually reduce water quality.
