 Valley View Cemetery

Valley View Cemetery was established and platted as part of the original town site of the Town of Clarkdale.  The first burial was of Cornelius G. Shea, a native of Ireland, and took place in August, 1913.  In 1959 management of the cemetery was transferred to the Town of Clarkdale.  Since that date it has been operated by the Town.  Many plots are still available.
 
 Also located within the Town of Clarkdale is the Jerome Cemetery.  This was established in 1917 as a result of an influenza outbreak.  This cemetery is owned and operated by the Town of Jerome.  A listing of the people buried there is available at  the Public Works Department and anyone searching for someone who might be buried in the Jerome Cemetery is welcome to contact the Public Works Department.
